The Ministry of Finance announces funding for the seventh installment of payments to farmers, amounting to 233 billion dinars.

The Accounting Department at the Ministry of Finance announced today, Monday, that it has begun financing the seventh installment of payments due to farmers who marketed wheat and rice crops for the 2025 agricultural season, with an amount of (233,999,993,760) dinars, or more than 233 billion dinars, which was transferred to the current account of the Ministry of Trade.
The department confirmed in a statement received by “Al-Eqtisad News” that “the financing process came based on the approval of the Prime Minister, and in implementation of the directives of the Minister of Finance, within the framework of the government’s keenness to support the agricultural sector and ensure the rights of farmers by paying their dues regularly.”
The Ministry of Finance affirms its continued commitment to implementing the government’s directives aimed at empowering local producers and encouraging farmers to market their crops, thereby contributing to enhancing food security and supporting the national economy.
