The Federal Customs Authority announced that it achieved revenues of 2 trillion and 400 billion dinars during the year 2025, a record number that reflects the fundamental transformation in institutional performance and the level of seriousness in implementing government reforms.
The Director General of the Customs Authority, Thamer Qasim Dawood, indicated in a press statement that this qualitative leap came as a result of the application of modern systems such as the ASYCUDA system and the TIR system, which contributed to unifying procedures, raising collection efficiency and increasing transparency.
The authority attributed this increase to the implementation of the “ASYCUDA” automation system and the modernization of the authority’s administrative structure, which contributed to raising the efficiency of customs collection and achieving qualitative growth.
