The Suez Canal witnesses the passage of the largest container ship in two years

The Suez Canal Authority announced the start of the gradual return of giant container ships to cross the Suez Canal, as the canal's navigation witnessed the passage of the container ship CMA CGM Benjamin Franklin, the largest container ship to cross the canal in two years.
The authority noted that the French shipping line CMA CGM also changed the route of another container ship in the large vessel category to cross the Suez Canal instead of the Cape of Good Hope.
In a related context, the Suez Canal Authority said that the incentives and flexible marketing policies it has produced since last May have contributed to the restoration of 28 trips for medium-sized container ships.
